Commercial, industrial, institutional, and Part 3 multi-residential property owners in Mississauga must comply with Peel Region By-law 10-2017. All testable backflow preventers must be inspected annually by a certified OWWA tester, and cross-connection surveys must be resubmitted every 5 years.

Peel Region mandates that completed test reports be submitted within 14 days of testing and requires updated Cross-Connection Control Surveys every 5 years.
